This coming Sunday will bring an eclipse and I've been meaning to mention this. The path of totality here in the US stretches from Oregon/Washington border, all the way to western Texas. We'll get something less than totality here in Minnesota. To see it you'll want a good clear view to the west as the eclipse will be right before sunset. I'm sure news reports will give some very exact times to view, so keep an eye out. As of right now, the local forecast is for 'mostly cloudy' so cross your fingers.
While looking around for a good map, I ran across a wonderful graphic at Wikipedia. It shows the eclipse area on a global scale. Click through for some serious coolness.
