Can it be for both? We began this adventure thinking we would like to keep Claire off the 'paci'. Right. Were we insane? Yes. We thought we would like her to be free of the 'oral fixation'. Silly parents. Now, I have no problem popping that baby into her mouth to get her to calm down. Most of the time it works like a charm.
Josiah and Annika showed almost no interest in pacifiers. We tried offering them to each of them. I think they may have each tried one two or three times, but didn't care for it. I wonder what Freud would say about that? I think pacifiers are fine, just gotta make sure to break her of the habit before she's 16...
I agree with Holly...Aurelia is happy=happy parents. It's a win-win situation.
