Sign of the times

Just gassed up the car and the person at the pump before me had spent $3. That bought them 8/10 of a gallon of gas.

I topped off the tank after driving just 40 miles away because it was 10 cents cheaper than at home. My biker friends roar off on their motorcycles on Sunday afternoons for a ride and call it "gas shopping." Usually by nightfall, we all know where the cheapest gas is.
