I do have to comment that Koenigstrasse and the area of the New Palace is nice, but it is just about the only "old" area left in Stuttgart. So that picture is quaint, but if you even turn around and look the other direction from that point, it's all very modern. Which is fine, I like modern too, but I have to admit that downtown Stuttgart is a bit of a disappointment for anyone expecting "old" Germany.
And for anyone wondering why there are two Friday pictures, I simply forgot that I'd scheduled the Stuttgart one. The management regrets the error. Please accept the additional one with our compliments.
