You know, this is a band that I really wanted to like, but just couldn't. In all of their hit songs, they had a few bars of music that were great, but then the rest of the song felt like the emergency brake was on. I didn't like their harmonies either. It made their music sound flat. I also didn't like their message - but if I stopped listening to music because of the socialist message, I'd only be listening to Oingo Boingo, you know?
By the way, check out my dip game if you haven't yet this week. I think Germany is ripe for a stab. I can't let them get as many as four builds this turn. What do you think?
This song really takes off around the 3:00 mark. When the other band member starts singing "One...country, one...country,one...". I'll post some other songs of theirs that I've come to appreciate.
