Best Picture Blunders
A fun list here. They list various technical or geographical problems from different Best Picture nominated films. The screwed up geography of 'Fargo' is listed.
I'm glad that they put the geography of Fargo on the list. I know that this movie wasn't an Oscar contender (at least I'm pretty sure it wasn't), but that Charlize Theron one "North Country" (think that's the title)--that one had the same mixed up Minneapolis scene. She should have been coming down to the Cities from Hibbing or wherever, and yet the view is approaching from the south.
