This picture has them stacked by decade. The 40's and 50's are on the left stretching all the way over to the 00's on the right. For those scoring at home, I've read the first two books from the 70's. The only problem is, what books should I start shopping for now?

You're reading all the Victor Hugo books?
I've read about half of them, Kate. 'Les Miserables' is one of my all time favorites. If you haven't read it, you should give it a look.
