Coming Clean

Ok, I'll admit it. I don't care for 'Jon and Kate, Plus Eight'. I find it stressful. Taking care of one baby is enough work without watching eight of them running around. Plus, I don't find it all that 'real-life'. It's hard for me to believe that the special things they do during certain episodes aren't thinly veiled supplier freebies. Also, I don't like the way Kate treats Jon. Cut him slack!
That's all.

I watched it during the last season, if only to be able to feel grateful after it was over. Grateful for the fact that we only have two children and for the fact that even if I can be cranky, she's crankier.

I always wind up feeling thankful after I've watched it.

I love that show. And it makes me SO HAPPY to only have one kid. :)

Apparently it's a girl thing.
I agree it makes me grateful I only have one. But it also makes me think about how you have to live the life you are given and while I am a little disgusted by them selling their children's lives (ala the Dionne quints but that was a CRAZY situation) They have used this situation to provide a life and memories they wouldn't otherwise have had.

I watch Super Nanny for the same reasons.

It MUST be a girl thing....

I do not think she is that awful to Jon. Havent' you heard him be mean back? That is part of why I like it---they fight and it is still okay. They love each other and get over fights very quickly.

I secretly want to send Marin to college in PA and marry Joel. ;)
