Accidental Child Deaths

This is quite possibly the worst thing I've ever read. Via Megan McCardle, the discussion in her comments about prosecution is interesting. For the record, I can't imagine the benefit in most cases.

That's kind of the way I felt too but I'm glad that I did. If nothing else it scared me into double checking the back seat.

Nope, I did not like this--in fact I hated it. If I think about this too much it can do a number on me so I am going to choose not to think about it. Can't even comment any more about it because it is starting to do that to me.
