When judging lightning, you're supposed to count the seconds between the flash and the sound to tell how far away the sound is. Can you find something similar if you count the seconds between the sound of the head bonk and the time before a toddler can scream?

When does the parent's grimacing face come into play? After the bonk or after the scream??
The grimace comes after the bonk as they wait for the scream.
There is, of course, the delay while the toddler determines whether anyone was watching... No witness often means no scream, at least at our house.
